Common questions
How do I get started?+
Download Aestra from the App Store, sign up with your phone number, and complete brand basics. From there you can add services, set your availability, and share your booking page.
How do bookings and deposits work?+
Clients book through your public booking page. If a service has a deposit, the client pays it via Stripe at booking time. Funds land directly in the bank account connected to your Stripe profile — Aestra is not the merchant of record on your charges.
How do I get paid?+
Payouts are managed through your Stripe Express dashboard. From the Payouts tab in the app, tap Manage on Stripe to view your balance, payout schedule, and bank details.
How do I issue a refund?+
Open the booking detail sheet (from Calendar or the client's page) and tap Refund. You can refund the full deposit or a partial amount. Refunds are processed through Stripe and the platform fee is reversed automatically.
How do I cancel or reschedule a booking?+
Open the booking, then choose Cancel or Reschedule. Your cancellation policy controls the refund amount when a client cancels; you can override it on a case-by-case basis using the Refund flow.
What if a client misses their appointment?+
Mark the booking as a no-show from the booking detail sheet. The deposit stays with you — you can also issue a partial refund if you choose to.
Can I export my data?+
Yes. Email support@aestrabook.com from the email on your account and we'll send a copy of your bookings, clients, and services within 7 days.
How do I delete my account?+
Open the Aestra app and go to Profile → Edit Profile → Manage your account, then tap Delete Account. Your account and data are removed immediately, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records tied to past bookings).
